Feast Unlimited.......






This is the 65 dishes menu prepared for the wedding feast of Sri Debnarayan Kundu, an ancestor of the present day inheritors of Itachuna Rajbari.





Our feast is no less .....lunch consisted of luchi, brinjal fritters, 'shukto' - (mixed vegetables which must include bitter gourd, in a light gravy), urad dal, 'alu posto'(potatoes tossed in coarsely ground khus khus paste), Rohu fish in mustard gravy, raw mango chutney, sweet curds and meetha paan!

Dinner thali- soft rotis, sauteed lady's finger and potato, alu-potol, fried brinjal in a gravy of coconut and khus khus, cholar dal, tomato chutney, soft spongy rosogollas and.....





....a bowl of kosha mangsho (mutton curry)
